Northern Paradise Aviary will provide with every purchase, a seven day guarantee for PBFD, PSITTACOSIS, POLYOMA, and PACHECOS, non- treatable pre-existing conditions that affect well being and health of birds or genetic deformities. This guarantee is only available provided you have the bird(s) tested and documented by a qualified avian veterinarian, and have them contact us directly for verification of birds health within the stated 7 days of delivery.

Please make an appointment to visit your avian veterinarian prior to pick up of your bird so that the health guarantee will cover the time period allotted.

This guarantee is not valid if the bird(s) are kept in the same air space as other birds in your home. For this reason, we shall keep the bird(s) at our facility for one week past it’s availability date, until DNA disease testing results are determined. The DNA disease testing will be done at purchaser expense, if it is desired. If we receive verification that one of the above conditions is diagnosed, you agree at our discretion, that we will either refund the entire purchase price to you, or replace the bird(s) with another one of the same species, sex ( if known at time of sale) of similar age if available.

In the event that you fail to have the bird(s) examined by a qualified vet within the seven day period, the health and fitness guarantee stated above is null and void.

In the event that the birds die within 7 days guarantee period you must immediately refrigerate, ( not freeze) the body in a zip lock bag and deliver to a qualified avian veterinarian or laboratory for a necropsy ( within 24 hrs) to determine cause of death. Failure to follows these instructions in case of death, makes this guarantee null and void.

Refund or replacement, if any, will be based on the cause of death (PBFD, PSITTACOSIS, POLYOMA, PACHEOS, NON-TREATABLE PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS THAT AFFECT THE HEALTH AND WELL BEING OF THE BIRD(S) AND GENETIC DEFORMITIES).

No refund or replacement on inconclusive findings, only on the above conditions. You must return the leg band back to Northern Paradise Aviary with a written necropsy report from qualified avian veterinarian, or there will be no refund or replacement.

Northern Paradise Aviary can not be held responsible for the cost of examination, testing, histopathology or necropsy. Necropsy will only be covered, if death is caused by any of the conditions stated above.
